By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. About

This website is run by Barbara Brennan, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, selling handmade sewn and knitted items. Contact: ba************@********co.uk.

2. Products

Everything is handmade, so no two items are exactly alike. Colours, fabrics and sizes may differ slightly from photos or descriptions, and screen colours vary. I describe items as accurately as I can.

3. Orders and made-to-order items

An order is accepted when I confirm it by email or dispatch it. Made-to-order and custom items (for example a shawl in a requested colour) are made specially for you. Please check details carefully before ordering. I’ll confirm timescales with you, and they are estimates, not guarantees.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Payment is taken at checkout through Paypal. Where I sell through Etsy or eBay, that platform’s own terms and payment rules also apply. I may change prices at any time, but not for orders already confirmed.

5. Delivery

Orders are sent to the address you provide, and delivery costs and estimated times are shown before you pay. I’m not responsible for delays caused by couriers or customs. International customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes.

6. Returns and cancellations

If you buy from me online, you have the right to cancel within 30 days of receiving your order and return it unused, in its original condition, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the item is faulty. This right does not apply to personalised or made-to-order items. To return or cancel, email me first.

7. Faulty or incorrect items

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, contact me promptly with photos and I will offer a repair, replacement or refund.

8. Safety of baby and children’s items

Items are handmade with care but are not toys and are not safety-tested products. Please supervise babies and young children when using them, and check items regularly for loose threads or damage. Follow any care instructions provided.

9. Intellectual property

All photos, text and designs on this site belong to Barbara Brennan unless stated otherwise. Please don’t copy or reuse them without permission.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, my liability is limited to the price paid for the item. I’m not responsible for loss caused by events outside my reasonable control.

11. Privacy

How I use your personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you order applies to that order.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also use your local courts.
